Cleaning is done by Grit blasting as per the API standards.
Coating
Utmost care and sound knowledge of process application helps MAN Turbo India in selection from the wide range of coating material to match with various application and Rotor MOC. Application specific coating is carried out on the base metal as per the API 687.
Stress Releiving
Residual stresses developed in the rotor by process upset is being removed by calculated Stress Relieving Cycle and subsequent machining as required.
Rotor De-stacking & Stacking
De-stacking and Stacking of turbomachine Rotors needs utmost care and expertise for successful execution. MAN Turbo India have executed various De-stacking and Stacking jobs for replacement of Impellers, Expander Wheel, Shaft, Sleeves, etc.
Relocation of the Machines
A change of production site necessitates relocation of the entire stock of machinery. Relocation of Turbo Machines is one of MAN Turbo’s specialties. The relocation project involves the overhauling of the machines at MAN Turbo India works and subsequent erection and commissioning of the machine / machine trains at site.
Burnishing
This activity is carried out to achieve the surface finish by Polishing and burnishing of the critical area of the rotor such as Journal, Seal area and Probe Target areas. Accurate grinding and Diamond tool burnishing carried out at MAN Turbo India works ensures surface finish as per various national and international standards.
Machining
Performance of the repaired components depends upon the accuracy of the final dimensions maintained after the repair activities. The dimensional accuracy is being maintained by the accurate machining centers and highly skilled workforce.
Welding
Built-up of the critical areas with a specilised technique i.e Laser Welding.
Blade Replacement
MAN Turbo India have executed numerous reblading jobs for Steam turbine Rotors, Guide Blade Carriers, Inlet Guide Vanes and Axial Compressor rotors as well. Blade replacement at MAN Turbo India work shop with in house developed special tools and testing methodology ensures proper fitment of the blades in the routes.
Refinning
Replacement of different types of fins viz. J-type, L-type, Double J-type has become a routine practice for MAN Turbo India workshop. Selection of material and workmanship ensures long life to the newly replaced fins.
