This has a rated speed of 5500 rpm. Pollutant emissions are reduced by means of Dry-Low-NOx-Brennkammer or by injecting water into the fuel chamber of the turbine.Power turbines for driving generators:
- Speed of 3,000 rpm, no gear unit, coupled directly to a generator for 50 Hz
- Speed of 3,600 rpm, no gear unit, coupled directly to a generator for 60 Hz
- Both power turbines are available both with clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation.
Power turbine for mechanical drive:
- Speed of 5,500 rpm, speed range variable between 2,500 – 5,750 rpm, counterclockwise (in flow direction).
The FT8 gas turbine is used for:
Mechanical drives:
Generator applications:
- Combined heat and power stations (CHP)
- Power stations
